Since 2019, Telavi State University has been implementing the international project co-funded by the European Commission “Curriculum Innovation for Social Inclusion” (CISI) which aims to promote social inclusion of PwDs (people with disabilities) by improving the quality of inclusive education in schools.
Within the framework of the project, on May 27-28, Telavi State University was visited by Monika Skura, a professor at the University of Warsaw. She conducted seminars for special education teachers of the university partner schools on the following topics:
· Basics of working with students with emotional and behavioral disorders.
The guest also visited Telavi Public School N7, where she met with the school director Ms. Maia Silagadze. The main topic of the meeting was the current situation, challenges and needs in the field of inclusive education.
