The selection process involves two phases: a selection event in each country to discover local winner from 10 bests startups, local winner’s attendance to the global final event among finalists represented from more than 55 countries (emerging/developing countries) in Switzerland. Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation announced a contest for getting Masters’ research project grants. The contest aims at raising the quality of scientific-researches, academic level and promoting development of research skills within MA thesis of Master students enrolled on accredited MA educational programme. It also provides improvement of scientific-research potential of Georgian higher educational institution, development of research activities in the field of research integration during study process and thematic or interdisciplinary direction. 

Winter School is taking place at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University from February 29th including March 6, 2016. The program covers lectures and discussions conducted by Georgian and foreign pedagogues. The scientific director of the project is TSU Professor, Dr. Iago Katchkatchishvili. 

Based on the information spread from the Czech Republic we would like to notify that EUROPEUM – the Institute for European Policy organizes Summer School in Prague on July 16th, 2016. This year’s European Summer School is titled “Europe in Motion”.

International Association for the Promotion of Georgian/Kartvelian Studies and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with the financial support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation announces a call for Winter School in Kartvelian Studies – 2016. The 7th International Symposium on Kartvelian Studies will be taking place on October 17th to 22nd, 2016 at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The year 2016 is significant for Kartvelian Studies and culture as it is the year of the anniversaries of Shota Rustaveli and the founder of Tbilisi State University, Ivane Javakhishvili. The programme of the 7th  International Symposium in Kartvelian Studies will be linked to these anniversaries and its main working theme will be ”Georgia in a context of European Civilization”.

The Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia launched the first stage of Hepatitis C elimination program that aims to decrease death rate and infection circulation caused by Hepatitis C in Georgia.
Under the abovementioned program, the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health is organizing free screening actions in Municipalities.

A call for scholarship programme 2016-2017 was announced by the Hungarian Government under the exchange programme of the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungarian Government and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
