An internal workshop was held in TeSaU under the project "Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)"

On April 3, an internal workshop was held in Telavi State University within the framework of the international project –Responsible Conduct of Research - "Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)".

The project manager, Tamar Aslanishvili, introduced the group members in detail to the activities provided by the project.

As a result of the discussion, groups of persons responsible for specific activities, their composition and leaders were selected. It was also planned to inform the university academic staff and students about the project.

The project is implemented under the coordination of Ilia State University and will contribute to raising the research culture in universities. Its main objective is to improve research ethics and integrity mechanisms, procedures and services at the university level. Along with 10 Georgian universities, the European partners of the consortium are the Free University of Amsterdam, Charles University, Masaryk University and the European Network/Association for Academic Integrity.

The non-university partners of the project are: the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. The project was financed by the European Commission and will be implemented for four years.
