On September 27-30, Telavi State University hosted another meeting of VitaGLOBAL project. In parallel with the assessment of the project progress, meetings and discussions were held on sustainable viticulture and winemaking, marketing and tourism. Presentation _ Georgia the Cradle of Winemaking – was presented by Davit Maghradze, and from the business sector, Roland Burdiashvili, the Director General of "Schuchmann" presented information about the mentioned enterprise for the project participants, the challenges of Covid19 and ways to overcome it. He particularly emphasized the importance of Telavi State University internationalization for the business sector. At the meeting, a discussion was also held with the representatives of the local government of the region, how they consider the role of Telavi State University in the development of the region, in the field of viticulture-winemaking.

At the end of the meeting, a visit was made to Telavi partner Wine Company  Shumi, where the the project guests from Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, South Africa and other universities in Europe, learned about the existence of tourism potential in Georgia.

The Vitaglobal project is implemented in the field of agricultural and aims at the internationalization of the viticulture-winemaking programme.
