On October 10, in connection with the International Day of Mental Health, a psychologist of Telavi State University met with the students. The meeting was held in the newly created psychological support center for students in TeSaU, within the framework of the Erasmus+ international project, E-PSY, funded by the European Union. TeSaU psychologist Ia Chakiashvili got to know the students' needs and gave them practical advice.
The goal of the E-PSY project is to provide social and psychological assistance to students in Georgian higher educational institutions through the creation of psychological counseling centers; Raising awareness of mental health among students and public in general.
The project has been implemented since 2021, and along with Georgian higher educational institutions, Bydgoszcz University of Economy and Transilvania University of Brasov are involved. The project will be completed in 2023.
