On July 30th Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University hosted UNICEF Representative in Georgia Dr. Ghassan Khalil.

TeSaU Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Aleksandre Mosiashvili met the guest and he emphasized Telavi State University achievements and upcoming activities during the meeting. History of cooperation with UNICEF and main aspects of future work were also considered.

At the meeting a memorandum of cooperation was signed between UNICEF and Telavi State University that aims at promoting and protecting realization of  children rights through the establishement and enhancement of Children Rights Center. Within the bounds of mutual cooperation the parties are planning to organize joint scientific conferences, seminars and other activities in the field of children rights. 

At the end of the meeting, Telavi State University Vice Rector and UNICEF representative in Georgia, Mr. Ghassan Khalil examined Children Rights Room that was completely equipped with technical appliances by UNICEF.
