Informational Meeting within the framework of EU funded project – Vita Global – took place at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on December 5th.
During the meeting, attended by TeSaU academic staff and employers from the partner wineries, the project objectives and outcomes had been discussed. The importance of getting the additional skills the students should have after graduation was also spoken about. Eventually, this will promote enhancement of their competitiveness at work.
Vita Global is the project of “Erasmus+” (2018-2021) that is funded by the European Union and it promotes improvement of the university staff skills in respect of higher education.
The main goal of the project is to develop the global university network that will connect different geographical regions with the purpose of expanding and improving educational programs, particularly, in the field of viticulture-winemaking.
Vita Global combines the Universities of Georgia, South America, Europe and South Africa. The project will be ended with the composition of the joint program or different international curriculum. It will make a contribution in the regional development and enhancement of local economics.
