Working Meeting in Israel under the Project “Developing Programs for Access of Disadvantaged Groups of People and Regions to higher Education“

On June 18-23, the next working meeting was held at Haifa University (Israel) within the framework of the EU funded international project DARE (Developing Programs for Access of Disadvantaged Groups of People and Regions to Higher Education“). The meeting was attended by the project members and students from partner universities.  

During the meeting, attended by Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Head of Administration – Mzia Maisuradze, Head of International Relations Office – Tamar Aslanishvili, Project Coordinator – Sophio Arsenishvili and other representatives, opportunities for dissemination of project outcomes and recommendations were discussed by the partner universities.

At the same time, TeSaU students met with Gordon College students and shared experiences.

The project provides access of inclusive, ethnic groups, women and disabled persons to higher education and quality enhancement in Georgia, as well as in Israel.

The project goal is to enhance and support development of educational programs for access of disadvantaged groups of people and make education accessible beyond audience, in digital environment. 

The final meeting will be held at Masaryk University, Czech Republic.
