Scientific Supervisor of the Project – Doctor of History, Professor Tengiz Simashvili Title of the Project – "Ethnic and Cultural Diversity in Kakheti – The Udis" Project Overview – The study involved a comprehensive investigation of the history, cultural traditions, folklore, customs, and women's needs of the Udi community, who were resettled in the 1920s in the village of Zinobiani (formerly known as Oktomberi) in Kvareli Municipality. Additional relevant aspects were also examined. The research findings were compiled and published in book form. The project was conducted over 11-month period in 2023. Scientific Supervisor of the Project – Doctor of History, Professor Tengiz Simashvili Project Title – "Ethnic and Cultural Diversity in Kakheti – The Lezgins (Khunzs-Avars)" During the implementation of the project, a comprehensive study was conducted on the history, traditions, folklore, customs, and needs of women, as well as other relevant aspects of the Khunz (Avar) population residing in the Kvareli Municipality. The research findings were subsequently compiled and published in book form. The project was carried out over a period of nine months between 2021 and 2022. |
