Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, with the financial support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, is implementing the project – Seasonal School
"Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development" on May 6-12, 2016.
The main aim of the interdisciplinary seasonal school is to pull out and underline the complexity of ecological problems in power generation field in the cross cut of the sustainable development serving the purpose of showing how the ecological, technological and economic aims are intersected and to see the necessity of different strategies and decisions in the view point of local conditions and development.
The topic of school is global warming and ecological consequences, power efficiency, renewable energy, technologies, materials, energy politics and planning, the paradigms of the sustainable development and the skills of the leadership.
The organizers of the school are: Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, Georgian Technical University, Ilia State University.
The working languages are English and Georgian.
The first part of the school will be held in Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Tbilisi, Georgia) on May 6-8, 2016 while the second part will be hosted by the Telavi State University on May 9-12, 2016.
