Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI), in cooperation with Georgian Government Administration and with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Sweden Government and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is implementing a project – “Supporting the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Georgia”.
The project aims to support the Administration of the Government of Georgia in effective monitoring of the national agenda on the implementation of UN Sustainable Goals (SDGs).The project also aims to increase public awareness about the global agenda on UN SDGs in the Georgian context. The campaign of increasing awareness includes global processes of realizing goals provided by the project, as well as conducting different kinds of arrangements on local level. The project provides organizing public discussions, lectures, trainings and informational campaigns.
Under the mentioned project, IDFI staff is making a presentation at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University along with the government administration officials on June 7, from 13:00 to 16:00. The meeting is taking place at TeSaU building I, floor II.
