On May 20, 2022, within the framework of the LOVEDISTANCE project, which aims at equal access to and democratization of higher education, university training was conducted for the academic staff of Telavi State University.

The trainers introduced various platforms purchased under the project to the academic and administrative staff to support distance learning/teaching.

Ways and means of filming, editing, making changes were discussed in detail at the training. The participants were provided with information that the programs purchased under the project can be used in the laboratory set up within the project at Telavi State University.

The participants of the training expressed their desire to learn more about the Camtasia and Vimeo programs. At the end of the training, they expressed their readiness to use the programs in the process of developing synchronous and asynchronous courses.

The project LOVEDISTANCE is co-funded by the European Commission, which aims to strengthen the procedures and mechanisms required for distance learning in Georgian and Israeli higher education institutions. The European partners of the project are the universities of Portugal, Spain and Romania.
