On November 6, 2024 Telavi State University Horizon Europe grant office organized a training session for TESAU academic staff and young researchers on the topic of the key sections (Excellence, Impact and Implementation) of a Horizon Europe proposal. The session was conducted by the Grant Office Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Ketevan Shashviashvili.

Telavi State University Horizon Europe Grants Office Coordinator - Assoc. Professor Ketevan Shashviashvili, as a successful applicant of the “Qualification Enhancement Program Abroad 2023-2024” (funded by LEPL International Education Center of Georgia) participated in an intensive certification course “Denmark-Georgia Study Tour for Research Managers and Administrators (27May-1June 2024) organized by DARMA, a leading Danish association in the field of science management.

Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia in collaboration with the NATI00NS project is organizing the National Engagement Event in Tbilisi that will take place on the 27 May 2024 at 12:00 with the possibility to attend online. Horizon Europe info day for Cluster 2 (culture, creativiry & inclusive society) will be organized on October 18, 2023.

This info day aims to inform (potential) applicants about topics included in the Cluster 2 'Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Societies' work programme for 2024.

The EIT Community invites applicants to develop and submit applications aligned with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative. The goal is to collaborate with citizens to develop long-term solutions that match the needs and demand of the wider community.

The European Innovation Council and the European Institute for Innovation & Technology have teamed up to create a bigger and bolder European Prize for Women Innovators, with no fewer than 9 prizes to be awarded. The prize awards women from across the EU and countries associated to Horizon Europe, whose disruptive innovations are driving positive change for people and planet.

COST online Info Day will be held on may 24th. This online COST Info Day is open to all researchers and innovators at any career stage and from any field of research, especially young researchers, as well as R&I staff. 

An important competition for the horizontal pillar of Horizon Europe (broadening participation and strengthening the European Research Area) has been announced. Within the framework of the competition, applicants have the opportunity to submit a project application in the twinning "A" or "B" competition:

The Pilot Cities Programme supports European cities to test and implement innovative approaches to rapid decarbonisation over a two-year pilot programme, working across thematic areas and functional silos in support of systemic transformation.
