Through May 22-28, 2022, within the framework of the EU Erasmus + project DITECH (Developing and Implementing Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning at Georgian HEIs), the first training of trainers was held in Tallinn (Estonia) for the academic staff of Georgian Universities participating in the project and representatives of National Center for Teacher Professional Development.
Practical seminars and workshops were led by the university representatives. During the training, participants learned about innovative technology-enriched learning strategies and ways to create a digital learning environment.
The aim of the training was to acquaint the participants with the potential of modern information and communication technologies in the process of creating and conducting teaching courses; after the training participants will better understand the role of various information and communication technologies in the introduction of innovative pedagogical approaches. It is worth mentioning that the participants were introduced to: the pedagogical and technological aspects of creating educational videos, the possibilities of using telematics robots in learning process, various tools and programs for creating, recording and editing interactive educational videos.
During the training, the participants were involved in practical work, creating and presenting videos and presentations.
