The next meeting of the EU funded Project - 598507-EPP-1-2018-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP - “A Global Network for Agricultural Sciences and Viniviticulture: Internationalising through Joint Programmes” (VitaGLOBAL) was held in Argentina through April 3-8, 2022. The meeting was organized by Universidad Nacional de Cuyo – UNCUYO (Mendoza, Argentina).
From Telavi State University the meeting was attended by the Head of International Relations Office -Tamar Aslanishvili and Professor of the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences - Medea Ormotsadze.
The events and discussions were aimed at introducing six modules developed within the project and continuing academic collaboration for the implementation of those modules, organizing local economic roundtables and dialogue with the industry. The issue of modularizing and internationalizing the teaching and learning of the “White Paper” presentation, being developed under the project, was also discussed. The staff of the International Relations Office of the project partner universities were given the opportunity to discuss the formation of further networks and future cooperation according to their priorities.
Meetings were held at two locations - Mendoza and Buenos Aires - to enable project partners to meet with the companies and local government officials involved in the Argentine wine industry and to plan future relationships.
