Twelve Georgian higher education institutions signed the Declaration of Academic Integrity during the first international conference held within the framework of EC funded international project – “Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY)”.
The final project meeting was organized by Ilia State University in Tbilisi on October 5th. It was attended by the representatives of Georgian and foreign higher education institutions and research institutes.
By signing the abovementioned declaration, worked out under the project, the institutions expressed their willingness to ensure high standard of academic integrity in educational and scientific institutions via the introduction of anti-plagiarism programs intensively there, organize special trainings, promote raising of awareness in that regard, form scientific society having high credibility and so forth.
After the completion of the official ceremony, online-audience had an opportunity to hear innovative viewpoints concerning the academic integrity from the representatives of higher education institutions and be familiarized with the project institutional outcomes.
