A new academic and research project – “Reinforcement of Modern Research Practice in Regional Rural Institutions” will be implemented at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.
On December 17th, under the abovementioned project an informational meeting was arranged at Telavi State University by the regional coordinator of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) – Ketevan Rukhadze and representatives of different partner organizations.
The presentation was attended by Tesau Rector, Mrs. Irma Shioshvili, vice-rectors, professor-teachers from the faculty of Agrarian Sciences and students.
The project aims to extend research practice of regional universities in the field of agriculture, make joint investigations on different urgent issues and raise the capacities of educational research institutions in agriculture.
The project beneficiaries are Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University and Samtskhe-Javakheti State University.
Under the project, realized by Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) together with co-partners – CENN, PMC RC and EU, the role of beneficiary universities will be increased among those interested parties as local government, agriculture, cooperative societies and farmers.
