On 29th of October MEDIA CHECKER representatives met with Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University students of the faculty of Social Sciences, Business and Law with the specialization – journalism.
Investigators of the Charter of Journalistic Ethics project – MEDIA CHECKER spoke about the language of disgust in Georgian media, monitoring of kids’ problems and other matters with the future journalists. Concrete examples of abrogating the Ethic standards were shown from different Georgian informational sources and programs; then a discussion was made where students and their lectures were involved.
At the end, the visitors emphasized the significance of meeting with journalists and denoted that presentation of Georgian media monitoring outcomes will be made regularly.
