On October 16, 2024, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University  hosted the PROVE online meeting held in the frame of the European Commission funded project "Promotion of value education for higher educational institutions of the South Caucasus"   Project partners from Europe, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia attended the meeting.

The goals and objectives of the project were discussed at the meeting together with the rights and responsibilities of work package leaders. An active discussion was held on administrative issues and processes for completing the tasks according to the scheduled timeline. At the meeting, tasks were distributed, which should be presented by the leaders of the work package during the first face-to-face meeting on December 9-11, 2024 at Telavi State University.

The main goal of the project is to promote value education for educational institutions of the South Caucasus, develop appropriate courses, train professors and actively involve the community outside the universities in these processes. Students should be actively involved in the project, conferences and study visits are planned.

The duration of the project is 3 years and the total budget is 673,668.00 euros, which should be used for the implementation of various activities of the project.

The project coordinator is Telavi State University. This year, two projects are being implemented under the coordination of TeSaU.,
