On October 11-13 of this year, the employees of Telavi State University attended another working meeting at Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University, within the framework of the international project "ETHICS".

Within the framework of the mentioned project, trainings were held, which provided for the training of researchers and research supporting staff responsible for integrity in the universities of Georgia. The trainings were conducted by foreign partners involved in the project. Trainers from the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and the European Network of Academic Integrity introduced the representatives of Georgian universities to modern challenges related to research ethics and integrity. 

Plagiarism prevention, work and monitoring strategies of research ethics committees were also discussed at the meeting. Together with ten universities of Georgia, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the National Center for the Development of Education Quality and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation also attended the meeting.

The "ERHICS" project, whose coordinator is Ilia State University, was financed by the European Union within the framework of Erasmus+ institutional development and aims to systematically improve the research activities carried out by universities and research organizations by introducing practices focused on highly qualified research and advanced academic approaches.
