On July 23, 24 and 27, Telavi State University organized a Horizon Europe Training Series for its academic staff, aimed at strengthening researchers’ integration into the international research community and enhancing their opportunities to participate in European research and innovation programmes.

The training series combined theoretical knowledge with practical activities and covered the following topics:

Training Session 1: ORCID: How to Increase the International Visibility of Our Research. Participants learned about the importance of ORCID, researcher identification, increasing the visibility of research outputs and effectively managing professional research profiles. The session also included practical work on creating and updating ORCID records.

Training Session 2: EU Funding & Tenders Portal: Creating a Researcher Profile and Using the Partner Search Tool. Participants learned how to create and complete researcher profiles on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal and how to use the Partner Search tool to identify collaboration opportunities and join international research consortia.

Training Session 3: Key Aspects of Horizon Europe Project Proposal Development. The session covered the key stages and structure of Horizon Europe proposals, evaluation criteria and practical approaches to preparing competitive applications. Particular attention was given to preparing Part B and developing a strong project concept.

The training series contributes to strengthening the research and proposal development capacities of the University's academic staff, expanding opportunities for international cooperation and supporting active participation in Horizon Europe and other European research and innovation programmes.
