On March 1, TeSaU representatives participated in the first national meeting under European Commission funded project “Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)” organized by Ilia State University.

Telavi State University will be involved in the international project "Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)", which will start in February of the current year. The first national project funded under the Erasmus+ Institutional Development Program ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-3 will be implemented under the coordination of Ilia State University and will contribute to raising the research culture in universities. 

On December 30, the Psychological Counseling Center for students was opened in TeSaU within the framework of the ERASMUS+ international project E-PSY.

On December 19-22, 2022, within the framework of the PACT4SKILL project funded by the European Commission, Tamar Aslanishvili, the head of TeSaU International Relations Office, participated in the meeting that was organized by the project coordinator university.

On November 5-6 of the current year, a training-workshop was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University within the framework of the EU-funded ERASMUS+ project "Developing and Implementing Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning at Georgian HEIs _DITECH".

On December 8, 2022, within the framework of the Erasmus+ institutional development project “Learning Optimization and Academic Inclusion via Equitative Distance Teaching and Learning” (LoveDistance), Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University hosted partners from Portugal, Spain, Israel and Romania.

Telavi State University is the only Georgian partner of the Kavala Development Agency project. According to the project, five countries of the Black Sea basin will create a new tourist corridor through the monuments of cultural heritage included in the UNESCO list. Greece, Turkey, Moldova and Romania will be involved in the project through different organizations. Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University is the only educational institution among the participating parties.

On October 10-14, 2022, within the framework of the European Union Erasmus + project DITECH (Developing and Implementing Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning at Georgian HEIs), the second meeting of the trainers was held for the representatives of the National Center for Teachers’ Professional Development, the academic staff of Georgian universities participating in the project in Kaunas (Lithuania).

The International Conference of the Project Πιερική Αναπτυξιακή ( BSB Smart Farming ) on new technologies, #innovation and #intelligent #agriculture (SmartFarming) was successfully organized by Black Sea Basin CBC Communication network for projects on Wednesday the 12th of October Participants from Black Sea countries (Armenia Enterprise Armenia, Bulgaria Universitatea "Dunărea de Jos" din Galați Romania Business agency association

On October 21, TeSaU was visited by an Israeli delegation led by Avraham Elkabetz, the mayor of Afula City. The guests were hosted by representatives of Telavi State University administration. 

On September 27-30, Telavi State University hosted another meeting of VitaGLOBAL project. In parallel with the assessment of the project progress, meetings and discussions were held on sustainable viticulture and winemaking, marketing and tourism.

On October 10, in connection with the International Day of Mental Health, a psychologist of Telavi State University met with the students.

Telavi State University is involved in the international project "HERIPRENEURSHIP", one of the main goals of which is to raise the awareness of cultural heritage and support its economic benefits. This time, the first newsletter was developed in Georgian language, which is a kind of report of the activities carried out in 2021.

From July 1, 2022, the project ProGriCC - "Production of Grapes in Changing Climate" - funded by the Swedish Institute is being implemented at Telavi State University. The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences is the coordinator of the project.

On July 4-7, 2022, the next working meeting of the LOVEDISTANCE project funded by the European Commission was held in Barcelona. The meeting was attended by the representatives of all project partner universities from Georgia, Israel, Romania, Porto and Spain.

The LLL course developed within the framework of the RURD project funded by the European Commission took place on June 9, 2022. It was attended by the teachers and students of College "Prestige", in addition to the representatives of Telavi State University.

The third newsletter in a row, published within the "HERIPRENEURSHIP" project, is dedicated to Moldova. 
Here you will learn about Moldova's tourist potential, folklore, traditional dishes and customs.
 The newsletter will introduce you to the cultural sites of Moldova, describing specific historical
 traditions and national celebrations.

The second newsletter was prepared within the framework of the international project "HERIPRENEURSHIP".

On December 26, the Smart Farming team of Telavi State University conducted an online workshop for the students of educational institutions in Telavi district. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize youngsters with another project being implemented at TeSaU funded by the European Union. 

On June 3-8, 2022, Tamar Aslanishvili, head of the International Relations Office, was in Barcelona​​within the framework of the international project LOVEDISTANCE, funded by the European Commission.

From May 29 to June 3, 2022, Tamar Aslanishvili, the Head of Telavi State University International Relations Office and Medea Ormotsadze, Professor at the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences, participated in the International Week organized by the University of Coimbra (Portugal). 

Through May 22-28, 2022, within the framework of the EU Erasmus + project DITECH (Developing and Implementing Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning at Georgian HEIs), the first training of trainers was held in Tallinn (Estonia) for the academic staff of Georgian Universities participating in the project and representatives of National Center for Teacher Professional Development.

On May 20, 2022, within the framework of the LOVEDISTANCE project, which aims at equal access to and democratization of higher education, university training was conducted for the academic staff of Telavi State University.

Since 2019, Telavi State University has been implementing the international project co-funded by the European Commission “Curriculum Innovation for Social Inclusion”  (CISI) which aims to promote social inclusion of PwDs (people with disabilities) by improving the quality of inclusive education in schools.

On May 18, 2022, an informational meeting was held for the academic and administrative staff of the College “Prestige” as part of the LOVEDISTANCE project, which aims at equal access to higher education and democratization.

The next consortium meeting was held at Telavi State University on May 2-4 within the framework of EU funded Project RURD. 

The next meeting of the EU funded Project - 598507-EPP-1-2018-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP  -  “A Global Network for Agricultural Sciences and Viniviticulture: Internationalising through Joint Programmes” (VitaGLOBAL) was held in Argentina  through April 3-8, 2022. The meeting was organized by Universidad Nacional de Cuyo – UNCUYO (Mendoza, Argentina).

From March 29 through 31, 2022 Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University representatives attended the meeting organized by the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). The meeting was held within the framework of the EU-funded ERASMUS+ CBHE Project “Role of Universities in the Regional Development” (RURD).

On March 13-17, 2022 Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University participated in the meeting organized within the framework of the EU-funded ERASMUS+ CBHE project “Role of Universities in the Regional Development” (RURD). Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) hosted the meeting in Kaunas, Lithuania. 

On March 14-17, 2022, another meeting of the LOVEDISTANCE project was held in Tel Aviv (Israel). After the pandemic, this was the first face-to-face meeting within the framework of the project. The meeting was hosted by all partner universities in Israel.

Within the framework of the EU funded project VITAGLOBAL, professors from the University of Rovira i Virgili (Spain), Antonio Russo and Vinka Woldarsky conducted training for the Georgian partners of the project.

On February 19, on the occasion of International Plagiarism Prevention Day, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University arranged an online meeting “Academic Integrity” for professors, teachers and students.

The next management meeting of the partner universities of the EU-funded project RURD was held at Shota Meskhia State Teaching University, Zugdidi. 

The whole world is celebrating Erasmus Days on October 14^th, 15^th and 16^th. Meeting with Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University academic staff was dedicated to those days.  It was held on October 15^th, 2021 within the frames of the European Commission co-funded project “Learning Optimization and Academic  Inclusion Via Equitative  Distance Teaching  and  Learning” (LOVEDISTANCE).

On September 25-29, 2021, a meeting was held in Varna City, Bulgaria within the framework of the Black Sea Basin Project - “BSB831 HERIPRENEURSHIP” – “Establishing Long-Lasting Partnerships to Upgrade Heritage-Based Offers and Create New Investment Opportunities in Tourism and the Cultural and Creative Industries at UNESCO Designated Areas in The Black Sea Basin”. The meeting was attended by the project partner organizations and other interested parties from Bulgaria.

From October 4^th 2021 Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University is hosting Croatian professors from the Polytechnic of Požega. 

On September 28^th, 2021 Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University conducted meetings with the representatives of the local self-governance in the frames of European Commission funded project RURD.

On September 22^nd, 2021 Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University hosted the training for the university staff  in the frames of European Commission funded project RURD.

Within the framework of the European Commission funded project RURD (“Role of Universities in the Regional Development”) the Memorandums of Understanding have been signed among Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, Telavi City Hall, Telavi Municipal Assembly and Administration of the State Attorney in Georgia’s Administrative-Territorial Units (Akhmeta, Gurjaani, Dedoplistskaro, Telavi, Lagodekhi, Sagarejo, Signagi, Kvareli municipals).  

The second online  consortium (June 30, 2021 - July 2) and the second national (July 27-29, 2021) meetings in the field of development were held within the framework of the European Union Erasmus+ project DITECH (Developing and Implementing Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning at Georgian HEIs).

On July 30th Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University hosted UNICEF Representative in Georgia Dr. Ghassan Khalil.

Within the framework of the HERIPRENEURSHIP Project, the next consulting meeting was held with supporting organizations at Telavi State University. A report form, representing one of the considerable parts for successful implementation of the project, was reviewed during the meeting along with other interesting matters. A research should be done in order to find out capacities of interested parties and audiovisual sector circumstances.

On July 9, 2021, within the framework of the EC funded project “RURD”, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University vice-rector for scientific affairs Nunu Geldiashvili, on behalf of the university rector, signed the memorandum about the foundation of a standing conference for rectors of regional universities. The meeting was hosted by the project coordinator Akaki Tsereteli State University.

From June 27 to July 1, 2021, the next meeting under the RURD project was hosted by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, State Maritime Academy and Art Teaching University.
