Leipzig University professors expressed their wish about involving Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University professors in the International Linguistic Congress regularly.

The tenth congress LIGTRa-2017 was held at Leipzig University, Germany on March 12-16. Telavi State University Head of Foreign Languages and Literature Department, Associate Professor, Tsisana Modebadze and Associate Professor at the same Department, Inga Tkemaladze presented their reports at the Congress. 

Tsisana Modebadze’s report “Translation Problems of Verbs and Content Coincidence in Different Languages” and Inga Tkemaladze’s work “Translation Quality, Evaluation of Translation Accompanying Mistakes in English and French Languages” roused a great interest among the scientists from different countries. 

The organizers of the congress were Leipzig University Professors: Karsten Zinner, Christine Paasch-Kaiser and Johannes Hertel. The title of the congress was “Translation in the Digital Age”.

Linguistic Congress has been taking place at Leipzig University since 1965 and it is dedicated to translation problems.
