Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Professor, linguist Roin Chikadze was awarded the Certificate of Honor by Georgian National Academy of Sciences.

Roin Chikadze has 55 years experience of scientific activities. TeSaU professor is the author of more than hundred scientific works, monographs and books. He is the initiator and organizer of several annual scientific conferences at Telavi State University. Roin Chikadze successfully fulfills his duties of being the academic supervisor of the doctorate students in the field of linguistics. The famous scientist is the Academician of the Academies of Georgian National and Social Relations, Georgian Ecological Sciences, Georgian Pedagogical Sciences and the Editorial Board Member of “Linguistic Issues”.

Roin Chikadze’s monograph – “Paratactic Construction of Sentence in Georgian” – is recognized as the new word in linguistics.

Roin Chikadze was given the reward of the Georgian Academy of Sciences in connection with the World Science Day established by UNESCO for his scientific achievements in the field of Philology.
