On the basis of the cooperation memorandum the Georgian National Academy of Science and Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University will carry out joint investigations in fields of education and science. 
Except of joint investigations, the memorandum also provides internships of pedagogues, scholars and specialists, arrangement of symposiums, seminars, workshops, support for the professional development of academic personnel and other essential measurements as well.
In June of the current year, the cooperation memorandums were drawn up between Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University and the President of Georgia as well. The memorandums aim to plan joint measurements promoting higher education quality enhancement, civil society formation and consolidation of state values.
The cooperation memorandum is drawn up with the Technical University too. The joint document ensures cooperation in fields of preparing qualified scientific personnel, training students with modern programs, organizing joint conferences, seminars, trainings and other events.
