The closing event of the 2025 Science Festival was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University and was attended by the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Mr. Givi Mikanadze.

“The organisation of a large-scale Science Festival has already become a tradition in Georgia. Year after year, the involvement of young people in scientific activities is increasing, as is the festival’s visibility and recognition. This is evidenced by the growing number of international universities participating alongside accredited Georgian higher education institutions.

The development and popularisation of scientific activity represent a concrete national priority that is crucial for the country’s progress and economic sustainability. The festival serves precisely this purpose, and we will continue to actively support and promote similar initiatives in the future,” — stated Minister Givi Mikanadze.

The event showcased joint scientific projects implemented within the framework of public–private partnerships, aimed at strengthening the role of science in the development of both the region and the country.

An exhibition area within the festival featured demonstrations of research achievements, where university academic staff, students, and representatives of partner organisations presented their innovative inventions.

The closing ceremony of the festival was attended by Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Mr. Zviad Gabisonia, State Representative in the Kakheti Region Mr. Giorgi Aladashvili, university rectors, members of the scientific community, and other invited guests.

The 2025 Science Festival was held across all regions of Georgia, initiated and financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.
