Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project PRODIGE, Telavi State University representatives — Associate Professor Ana Gigauri, member of the project’s academic staff; Associate Professor Salome Tatulishvili, Head of the University’s Quality Assurance Office; and Maka Kochauri, the project’s institutional coordinator — attended a series of training sessions held at Batumi State Maritime Academy.

The topic of the training was “The Learning Process: Adapting Pedagogy to Digital Education.”

The training was conducted under Work Package 3, implemented under the leadership of Tallinn University of Technology and Gori State University.

During the sessions, participants discussed key issues related to digital education, including:

• the differentiation between traditional and digital learning approaches;

• the integration of digital tools and methods into the educational process;

• the analysis of digital competencies and pedagogical skills necessary for effective digital teaching; and

• the assessment and analysis of challenges associated with digital education.

The training was attended by representatives of the project’s partner institutions, including:
the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia; the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement; Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University; Ilia State University; Tbilisi State Medical University; Akaki Tsereteli State University; Samtskhe–Javakheti State University; Batumi State Maritime Academy; Zugdidi State Teaching University; Telavi State University; Gori State University; Caucasus University; the Estonian Quality Agency for Education; the University Colleges of Namur, Liège, and Luxembourg; Tallinn University of Technology; Algebra University College (Croatia); and the National Distance Education University of Spain (UNED).

The project is coordinated by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
