TeSaU staff visited Italy within the framework of the ERASMUS+ "3E-Partnership" project The staff of Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University attended meetings held within the framework of the "3E-Partnership" at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy.
The project participants from Telavi State University were: Internationalization and Public Affairs Office coordinator / project 3E-Partnership manager Maka Kochauri, Dean of the Faculty of Agrarian, Natural Sciences and Technologies, associate prof. Levan Shavadze, and visiting lecturer Zurab Tsignadze.
The purpose of the meetings was to introduce to the educational and scientific activities in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy in host university.
In addition, the meetings served to jointly develop training programs and syllabi tailored to the local needs in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Within the framework of the 3E-Partnership project, it is planned to create / develop syllabi and implement the courses in Energy Efficiency in the project partner universities in Georgia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
The guests visited POLIMI Heating and Cooling System Center, energy-efficient technologies used by the university itself. Also, POLIMI laboratories, a lab for testing batteries on miniature racing cars, where only students are employed, a medical robot research laboratory, an electric vehicle and bicycle laboratory, an agricultural robot laboratory and a laboratory of radiation suppression systems and radiation measurement devices.
The discussions, information and practical sessions held during the visit were organized by the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) of the Polytechnic University of Milan.
