Telavi State University’s professor of the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences Manana Kevlishvili, deputy head of Administration Mzia Maisuradze and chief specialist of the International Relations Office Nino Korinteli were in Heilbronn (Germany). They took park in a study visit planned within the framework of DUGEOR project funded by the European Commission.
DUGEOR project was created for the introduction of dual education in Georgian higher education institutions. Within the mentioned study visit, German colleagues shared their experiences with Georgian colleagues. Within the project, a meeting with the partners with whom the dual educational model is implemented together with Heilbronn University was planned, these partners are: (Neckarsulm AUDI Factory, Scientific Center, State Institute of Viticulture and Pomology, etc.
From the side of Georgia, Georgian pubic and private higher educational institutions, National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement and Ministry of Education and Science of Georgian are involved in the project. The practical part of dual education will be supported by business companies partnering Georgian universities. Legislative changes are planned to promote dual education.
Within the framework of the project, by the end of 2023, another study visit is planned in Serbia.
