The representatives of Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University attended the second meeting of the consortium of the “ETHICS” project co-founded be the European Commission.

Tamar Aslanishvili - the head of the Internationalization and Public Affairs Office of the university, Nino Kakhashvili – the head of the Student Counseling Center for Academic Integrity, Maka Kochauri – the coordinator of the Internationalization and Public Affairs Office, got acquainted with the activities carried out by the consortium.

The leaders of the working groups presented to the participants of the meeting the plans for dissemination and quality development, as well as the future vision of the National Center for Quality Development, regarding the changes to be introduced in doctoral education and the training for experts.

The working part of the Consortium was devoted to interactive sessions dealing with the Ethics Research Integrity module and various practical issues related to it.

On the last day of the meetings, a poster presentation was held.

A total of 14 projects were submitted to the consortium, which promoted research administration and integrity.

At the end of the meetings, the emeritus professor of the University of Amsterdam, Lex Buter, held a public lecture on the topic - Open Science and Research Integrity.

European partners also attended the meeting together with Georgian partners.

In 2025, Telavi State University will host the national meeting within the framework of the project.
