A workshop "STEM - STEAM practice in formal education" was held for science teachers of the Kakheti region at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, in the ESTA Science Laboratory.

The workshop was led by the founders of the Steamith company, STEM education researcher and trainer, Medea Abramishvili, and Mamuka Apakidze, an electronics expert of the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency, STEM education trainer.

Trainers introduced teachers to STEM - STEAM approaches to teaching, methods of planning and implementation of relevant projects.

Within the framework of the workshop, the teachers practically worked on the STEAM set produced by "Steamith".

The meeting with teachers was held at the initiative of the dean of the Faculty of Education, Professor Nino Modebadze and Associate Professor, Natela Bagatrishvili.
