Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University has joined Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in the memorandum of mutual cooperation on the establishment of the inclusive education support network and future communication within it. The parties to the memorandum are Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and three non-governmental organizations, the Education Development and Employment Center, "Mariani" and the Movement for an accessible environment for everyone.

The founding organizations of the Inclusive Education Network are members of the Curriculum Innovation for Social Inclusion (CISI) consortium of the Erasmus+ program-supported project. The project has been implemented since 2019 under the coordination of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
