Rector of Telavi State University, Mrs. Irma Sioshvili, hosted Mr. Marty Kaszubowski, Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Consultant of George Mason University (America). TeSaU Rector introduced the results of the research carried out at the university to the guest and talked about the patents that were created on the "innovation base" of the university.
On November 14-19, the invited guest conducted trainings for Telavi State University academic staff on research commercialization, technology transfer and innovative research and got acquainted with the university's research infrastructure. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Marty Kaszubowski noted that Telavi State University is on the right path in terms of research commercialization and despite the fact that commercialization is a long-term process, the university will definitely be able to achieve success in this regard.
The trainings took place within the framework of the University Capacity Building Program (UCBP), which is funded by the US Embassy and is carried out under the patronage of the “American Councils for International Education”.
