IV Public School Conference was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on March 25.

“Members of Young Discovers’ Club” from the School made a presentation of the project “Chain Reactions”. They presented 2 modules:  “Feed the World” and “Out of Sight, Out of Mind”. One of the mentioned projects became the winner of the international conference that is implemented under the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme.    

Under the mentioned project, Public School IV actively cooperated with Telavi State University. “Members of Young Discovers’ Club” along with the Dean of the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences, Manana Kevlishvili and other faculty employees, conducted chemical and mechanical investigations of soil at Tesau laboratory. Students studied Gulgula, Vardisubani, Kisiskhevi soils and selected the territory of Kisiskhevi for making landfills.  

On behalf of Georgia, IV Public School students will present the project at the international conference that will be held in Bulgaria.  

The project presentation was attended by Telavi State University Deputy Rector, professor-teachers, IV public school students, pedagogues and Telavi City Mayor.
