On February 19, on the occasion of International Plagiarism Prevention Day, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University arranged an online meeting “Academic Integrity” for professors, teachers and students.

Participants of the meeting were familiarized with the negative role of plagiarism and threats caused by the academic dishonesty. “Turnitin” platform development and other positive steps implemented by the University were emphasized during the meeting. Renewed university regulations and the importance of Ethics Committee involvement were also mentioned.

The meeting had the form of dialogues during which the ways for tackling the challenges were planned.

The meeting against plagiarism was conducted by TeSaU Associate Professor, Nino Kakhashvili.
