Estonian expert of education, Ene-Silvia Sarv together with the representative of “UNICEF”, Natia Jokhadze have been to Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on October 9th.
The expert made a presentation about the Estonian higher education at the meeting taking place at TeSaU Faculty of Education Sciences. “UNICEF” representative spoke about the problems of teachers’ competence and qualification in Georgia. According to her, fulfilling the Teachers’ Training Program successfully is quite essential.
Estonia and Georgia have been collaborating for 4 years in the field of general and higher education and they work on joint projects, as well.
The second part of the presentation proceeded in question-answer format.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Rector, Aleksandre Mosiashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences, Davit Makhashvili and professor-teachers of the university.
