Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University volleyball player’s team (instructor – Davit Bekeri) got the second place in the tournament of Georgian Higher Educational Institutions. 

The tournament took place in two sub-groups. Telavi State University team succeeded in five games from six. 

Final meeting that was arranged on July 2, Telavi sportsmen were defeated by the Georgian Technical University volleyball-players. Accordingly, Telavi State University team members were awarded with silver medals and certificates.

The tournament in volley-ball among Georgian Higher Educational Institutions is an annual event.
