The scientific-research project â âTechnology of Restoring Degraded Landsâ was ended on November 1st, 2015.
Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Faculty of Agrarian Sciences, as well as Kutaisi and Akhaltsikhe State University Agrarian Faculties (project presenter â Non-commercial Legal Entity âPeopleâs Harmonious Development Societyâ (PHDS), project director â Davit Nazarovi) were involved in the investigations carried out on the pilot plot.
On December 23, Nikoloz Sulkhanishvili â associate professor of Tesau Faculty of Agrarian Sciences made a presentation on research findings.
Telavi State University students of the faculty of Agrarian Sciences were among the project participants together with volunteer farmers, representatives of state structures and non-governmental organizations. After the presentation, Tesau vice-rector in the field of Science, Professor Nunu Geldiashvili awarded project participants with certificates.
The investigation aimed to make a technology for the restoration of the degraded lands. According to the laboratory analysis of the soils, proper conclusions were made and recommendations were given to all interested in that sphere.
