PhD student Nino Dzamukashvili defended dissertation at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Faculty of Humanities on February 6. The title of the dissertation work is “Typological Relations of Conveying Expressiveness of Rhythmic Prose in Georgian and English Languages (academic supervisors: Professor Manana Garibashvili and Professor Nunu Geldiashvili).
The aim of the research is to explore typological relations of conveying expressiveness of rhythmic prose in Georgian and English languages.
The issue is topical indeed, since notwithstanding its age, rhythmic prose is almost unexplored. Furthermore, there is not any typological research done based on Georgian and English rhythmic prose material.
Nino Dzamukashvili was awarded the academic degree of the Doctor of Philology.
