Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Assistant Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and literature, Medea Metreveli participated in international forum.

The Forum “Russian Language in World Context and International Organizations” was taking place in Rome (Italy) from September 28, 2016 to October 3, 2016.

Medea Metreveli’s report covering intercultural dialogues and psycholinguistic aspect of translation rouse great interest. Her hypothesis “predicative phenomenon as a dynamic semantic process on the level of depth structures” – was evaluated as an interesting novelty.

The organizers of the Forum were: Lomonosov State University School of Translation and Interpretation (Russia), Paris New Sorbonne University High School of Interpretation and Translation (France) and Rome International University (Italy).  

The Forum was supported by Russian Federation constant representation in FAO and different organizations of UN, International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC), European Institute for Political, Economic and Social Researches (EURISPES), Italy.

Delegates of 48 universities from 23 countries took part in the abovementioned Forum.
