2016-2017 Academic Year has started at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on September 19th.
  TeSaU Rector, Irma Shioshvili, Kakheti Governor, Irakli Kadagishvili, Telavi City Mayor, former governor of the region and other local authority representatives congratulated the beginning of the university life to students and professor-teachers.
  Rector spoke about TeSaU progress and future plans. As Irma Shioshvili denoted, the University has all conditions for the realization of their talent and high quality education.
  Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University has new accredited educational programmes for the new academic year. One of the most popular Bachelor Educational Programme of Law has gained accreditation few times ago. Admission on the mentioned programme will take its start from the next year.
  According to European Commission rating, TeSaU occupies 6th position by the quantity of EU funded international projects.
  In connection with the beginning of the new academic year, first-year students got gifts from the University administration.
