Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University is involved in EU funded three-year project from November 2015. The project title is “Developing Programs for Access of Disadvantaged Groups of People and Regions to higher Education” (DARE ).
According to DARE project plan, TeSaU is going to offer free preparatory courses (foreign languages, general aptitude, Georgian language and literature) for future ethnic/religious minority applicants. TeSaU also plans to accredit minor program in Georgian Language, which was prepared specially for DARE project, equip special room for development of their IT skills.
Under the project, TeSaU DARE team has taken part in two consortium meetings held at the University of Murcia (Spain) and Achva College (Israel). The work plan of consortium members and future cooperation was created on the consortium meetings.
TeSaU team, Sophio Arsenishvili and Tamar Aslanishvili, led one of the training sessions
(professional development program for administrative staff in the field of ethnic and religious minorities) conducted in Achva college.
The third consortium meeting is planned in November at Telavi State University.
