Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University gained positive evaluation while taking part in the project “DOIT” and it became the member of the new consortium working on the project proposal of Universities. The project under Erasmus+ has already got financial support.
The project “DOIT” (Development of Curriculum Reform International Model for Teaching Multicultural Education and Cultural Diversity) has been implemented at the University in 2012-2016.
During the project implementation period, TeSaU hosted number of meetings and a monitoring group that checked up its progress shortly before the project accomplishment.
The main outcome of the project was new study courses. TeSaU professors Nino Sozashvili and Sophio Arsenishvili were the participants of making and introducing courses.
The courses have undergone international examination; selected study materials were translated within the project and readers were published, which are presented at TeSaU library.
TeSaU students (Eter Phangani, Tamar Bichashvili and Ramzan Gorgishvili) took part in successful implementation of the project as well. They were responsible for involving ethnical minority students in different activities.
