The closing conference of the “Tempus” project “SuToMa” – “Development of New Modules
for International Bachelor and Master Programmes in Sustainable Tourism Management” – was held in Wilhelmshaven, Germany on May 9-12.
The local coordinator of the project at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, Associate Professor Tamar Mikeladze and Associate Professor in the field of Tourism Tamar Tamarashvili participated in the abovementioned conference.
During the conference, the representatives of the partner universities made reports about the events and outcomes implemented under the project. The conference was actively broadcasted by the local media.
TeSaU did a great bit in the implementation of the project “SuToMa”. Different activities took place within the project: Teachers training for developing modules, mobility of students, meetings with tourism and business sector officials, translation of Tourism Books compiled under the project, etc.
A notebook and a projector were gifted to Telavi State University as the equipment of the
Tourism Room.
The project took its start from November 2012 and will be ended in July 2016.
