Presentation of reconnaissance archeological expedition results took place at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on May 6.

Under the guidance of the assistant of the Department of History, archeologist Giorgi Lagiashvili and assistant professor Davit Javakhishvili, TeSaU students investigated the way from Kisiskhevi to Turdo Gorges and studied the existing spiritual and secular monuments.

Presentation was made by Maka Botkoveli and Giorgi Mtskeradze - Telavi State University students of the faculty of Humanities with the specialization – History. As the expedition members mentioned, the discovered ceramics and other samples refer to the fact that there was a town earlier. 

The expedition took its start from April 22 and covered 4 days. Together with TeSaU students Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University student was involved in the expedition as well.

The presentation was attended by University students, professor-teachers and Self-Governing Community Telavi Municipality Culture Department officers.
