On 14–15 January 2026, an Erasmus+ DUGEOR project meeting and discussion forum was held in Tbilisi at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), with the active involvement of academic and administrative staff from Telavi State University.
The first working day was dedicated to a Project Management Meeting, during which project partners discussed the overall progress of the project, with particular focus on the financial and content-related aspects of the periodic report, implemented activities, identified challenges, and upcoming tasks. The active engagement of TeSaU staff contributed significantly to effective coordination and sound project management.
The second working day focused on an Employers’ Forum and discussions on the implementation of Dual Higher Education (DHE). Key topics included the role of employers in the DHE model, planned amendments to the Law on Higher Education, accreditation criteria, and the exchange of European best practices. TeSaU representatives actively contributed to the discussions, highlighting the university’s strong commitment to fostering labor market–oriented education and strengthening cooperation with employers in Georgia.
