Telavi State University Georgian folk dance ensemble “Mukhambazi” have been to Baku. The dancers’ performance gained a triumph in the capital of Azerbaijan.
The ensemble, organized by the Education Center existing with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, has participated in cultural-educational training held in Baku. Georgian dancers gave a master-class to Azerbaijanian colleagues in Georgian dances.
The event, taking place under the exchange program from October 3 to November 1, covered different cultural-educational arrangements as well. The dancers saw Baku sightseeings, amongst the Museum of Miniature Books where one section is dedicated to Georgian books completely.
The girls’ ensemble “Mukhambazi” consisting of Tesau students will depart to Istanbul on December 18. The new project of the Education Center provides meeting with the Turkish and Georgian workers of education and culture.
