Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Associate Professor of the faculty of Humanities in the field of Georgian Literature, Nino Gogiashvili has been to Bologna Alma Mater University on May 7-20, under Erasmus+ mobility programme. TeSaU Professor conducted lectures concerning comparative analysis of Georgian and Italian poetry that is the postdoctoral research outcome implemented at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

Nino Gogiashvili, also, gave lectures about the role of performance in modern poetry to the special group of Bologna University bachelor, master and doctoral students. She introduced them Georgian poets’ verses translated in Italian and English languages along with their short biographies.

After the lectures a working meeting was held at Bologna Alma Mater University, where Georgian and Italian Professors summarized TeSaU Professor’s successful working visit, set future plans and expressed their will for mutual cooperation.
