PhD student of English Language Teaching Methodology Doctoral Educational Programme, Tamta Nadirashvili maintained a thesis at the faculty of Educational Sciences on February 12th, 2016. The subject of the dissertation work was “English Language Vocabulary Teaching/Learning Strategies and Techniques at Universities (While Teaching a Foreign Language)”. The research subject is the strategies and techniques used by English language learners and teachers during the work on vocabulary at Higher Educational Institutions.
The aim of the study is to search the ways of learning process optimization to extend the learners’/students’ level of vocabulary knowledge.
After making proper conclusions and recommendations, the Dissertation Board awarded Tamta Nadirashvili with the academic degree of the Doctor of Education in English Language Teaching Methodology.
