The Next Meeting was held under the Project VITAGLOBAL

Within the framework of the EU funded project VITAGLOBAL, professors from the University of Rovira i Virgili (Spain), Antonio Russo and Vinka Woldarsky conducted training for the Georgian partners of the project.

The training was held on February 8, 10, 15 and 17, 2022 and it was intended for the academic staff involved in the project. The training was about the development of Wine Tourism Study Course at Telavi State University, particularly – Viticulture that is planned to be piloted in Wine-making Master Program for the spring term 2022.

European professors shared the training participants information about the admittance, funding rules and procedures on Wine Tourism Study Course, course essence, evaluation methodology and task forms already introduced in their program.  According to their perspective, practice role and place are of great importance within the course implementation process.

The best MA Theses and the course syllabus worked out by Georgian professors were discussed at the end of the training. Recommendations were given and the list of foreign literature, necessary for the internationalization of the course, was introduced.

VITAGLOBAL is the EU co-funded project that provides internationalization of the Viticulture-Winemaking MA program. Except for the European partners (Spain, France, Portugal), the Universities of Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay) and South Africa are the project members as well.
